The Cowper Arms is the pub that started the family. In a great location in the quiet village of Digswell, right next to the station. The Cowper Arms is a destination for people in the neighbouring towns and villages to travel to for food and also a popular pub for the locals of the village. The specials menus change daily with a huge selection of additional items inspired by the chef’s international travels. With a weekly pub quiz and a weekly open mic music night. Jo and Attila welcome everyone to sit by the fire and enjoy proper pub food.

Isolated from the noise and stress of the town centre, The White Horse boasts a huge beer garden where you can enjoy a gin beside the pond in the summer or a fireside pint of ale in the winter. Throughout the summer we serve BBQs and cocktails in the garden – whenever the weather permits – and keep a well stocked gin bar with seasonal variations throughout the year and new flavours to experiment. Resident mixologist and manager Arek can inform, educate and entertain on all of the gins and hosts regular tasting evenings. There’s also live music throughout the summer, a monthly pub quiz for Macmillan Cancer Support and regular Soul Sanctuary DJ nights. With many nooks and crannies offering a secluded, intimate dining experience.

Useless Pub Quiz
Useless Pub QuizDan started writing and presenting the weekly pub quiz at the Cowper Arms on Easter Sunday 2014. He now has over three years worth of weekly quizzes and hosts monthly quiz nights at our other pubs. Now he’s available for hire, should you need a pub quiz.
